Professor Tony Collins is currently Emeritus Professor of History at De Montfort University in Leicester, England, and also Senior Fellow in the Institute of Sport Humanities at the University of Buckingham.
He’s consulted on heritage issues for the Rugby Football League, the World Rugby Museum at Twickenham, as well as the National Football Museum in England and has written about the history of all the football codes, most notably in ‘How Football Began: a global history of the birth of the world’s football codes’.
